Emmerdale fans are convinced Ross Barton has another secret sibling after he recently found out about his brother Lewis.

This week in the Dales, Ross’ aunt Moira (Natalie J Robb) was left floored after receiving a letter intended for The Family of Emma Barton. As fans will recall, Emma (Gillian Kearney) was Moira’s sister and Ross’ mum.

She was responsible for a number of crimes during her time in the village, including trying to smother Ross when he was a baby. However, Emma ended up getting killed off in 2017 when Moira pushed her from a viaduct.

Despite wrestling with her conscience on what to do about the mysterious letter, Moira later showed it to Ross, which revealed he has a half-brother, Lewis, whom he has never met.

Ross found out he had a secret brother

Following an intervention from Matty Barton, (Ash Palmisciano) Ross decided to contact Lewis - and in Thursday’s episode (May 15) the pair met up in some woodland.

Face to face with his brother, Ross struggled to navigate Lewis’ many questions about their family without revealing the many dark secrets he needed to keep. In the end, Ross decided to go, leaving a hurt Lewis behind.

Fans don’t think Lewis is the only secret sibling

But now, fans reckon Lewis isn’t the only secret child that Emma had in the past as they have ‘worked out’ Ross’ other long-lost sibling - and they are in the village.

On an Emmerdale Facebook fan page, fans think secret killer John Sugden (Oliver Farnworth) could be another secret son. John made his debut on the soap last year and it didn’t take long for him to make an impression on the residents.

Fans have predicted a John Sugden twist

Since then, he’s caused plenty of drama and terror, including killing Nate Robinson (Jurell Carter) and dumping his body in a nearby lake.

Predicting a DNA twist for John and Ross, one person said: “Another theory could *john sugden* be Emma Barton’s other son.”

Other fans agreed as someone else said: “I was thinking the same as he walked into the pub I thought it was strange they were talking about it and he walks in.” A third then chimed in: “That’s what I said.”
