Busy Lexington road reopens after crash

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WKYT) - UPDATE: Lexwrecks reports that the incident on Leestown Rd between Yarnallton Pike and Browns Mill Rd has been cleared and the roadway is being reopened.
ORIGINAL STORY: There’s a traffic alert for drivers in Lexington.
Lexwrecks reports Leestown Road is shut down in both directions between Yarnallton Pike and Browns Mill Road due to a collision involving a car and a dump truck hauling a trailer with a backhoe.
The backhoe flipped in the crash and struck the RR overpass.
The closure is anticipated to last until 4 p.m. or later.
Detours are in place via Yarnallton Pike, Browns Mill Road, and Old Frankfort Pike.
Expect delays in the area.
