Jojo Siwa has spilled the beans on a significant adjustment she's undertaken for her former Celebrity Big Brother housemate Chris Hughes.

It comes amidst mounting speculation around their blossoming romance. Gracing Channel 4's famous Sunday Brunch last Sunday (June 1), the pop sensation joined hosts Tim Lovejoy and Simon Rimmer.

The latest episode of the show welcomed a stellar lineup which included the star of Adolescence Ashley Walters, comedian Suzi Ruffell, actress Gemma Whelan, makeup guru Dominic Skinner, and music from ALT BLK ERA alongside the ex-Celebrity Big Brother contestant.

The start of the show saw a few cringeworthy moments as the presenters bantered with their guests about whether summer had officially kicked off in Britain. Despite June 1 being the meteorological beginning of summer, the panel playfully disputed this point.

Before any culinary action began, Tim decided to catch up with some of the celebs at the table. He delved into Ashley Walters' experiences on the hit Netflix show Adolescence, congratulated ALT BLK ERA on their live TV debut, and quizzed Jojo Siwa on her recent venture into the British limelight following her stint on ITV's Celebrity Big Brother where she grew notably close to former Love Island contestant Chris Hughes.

Addressing the rampant whispers, Tim noted that there had been "lots of gossip" surrounding Siwa and Hughes, pointing out their frequent sightings together post-Celebrity Big Brother, reports the Mirror.

Jojo humorously admitted that her life has seen a significant shift, as she's become a dedicated fan of Sunderland FC, thanks to Chris. She exclaimed: "Chris has made me into a Sunderland fan. Ha'way the lads!"

Commenting on Tim's attire, she playfully remarked: "He would not be happy with the colours you are wearing right now."

Speaking on the topic of Sunderland's triumphant promotion to the Premier League after their playoff victory, Jojo couldn't hide her excitement: "Oh baby, we've been waiting eight years. I've been singing the songs with my arms out. A fan actually made us matching bracelets but they were black and white."

Explaining further, she said: "Chris said he wasn't sure he could wear it because it's Newcastle colours. So this sweet fan actually made us new ones but in Sunderland colours."

When quizzed by Tim about whether Sunderland could clinch the Premier League title next season, Jojo responded with optimistic wit: "Oh - Yes!".

It's worth noting that Jojo was recently spotted sporting a blinged-out Sunderland kit at her London gig.

Sunday Brunch airs Sundays at 10am on Channel 4.
