Traffic delays expected in Bladen County due to graduation ceremonies today

BLADEN COUNTY, N.C. (WECT) - The Bladen County Sheriff’s Office (BCSO) announced that traffic delays are to be expected as schools host graduation ceremonies on Friday, June 6.

BCSO says the ceremonies will be for East Bladen High School and West Bladen High School. Both events will take place at Elizabethtown Middle School Gym.

West Bladen High School’s graduation will begin at 10 a.m. at the gym. East Bladen High School’s graduation will begin at 3 p.m.

“Traffic will be congested in the area before and after each ceremony. Please expect delays. Bladen County Sheriff’s Office will be assisting with traffic control,” BCSO stated in a Facebook post.
